A LyteBeam home was setup in South Africa as a demonstration unit for the local manufacturer in South Africa. Because LyteBeam homes are manufactured from corrugated plastic they can be manufactured nearly anywhere in the world! The hope is to deploy these houses anyplace there is a need for inexpensive, safe and secure housing.
